Dr. Alexandra Kilgore

 

Dr. Kilgore graduated in the first class of Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1983.  Since then, she has practiced small animal medicine and surgery here at Littleton Animal Hospital and became the hospital owner in 1988.  Dr. K has a special interest in avian and exotic medicine and especially surgery.  She has attended multiple ICE (International Conference on Exotics) and AAV  (Association of Avian Veterinarians) conferences where she obtained advanced training.  She has been the Massachusetts Representative to the AAV for 10 years and participates regularly in local avian and exotic rounds.  Her current pets include 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 11 birds.  In the past, she has also had rabbits, chickens, ducks, and a horse.  Outside of her veterinary life, Dr. K enjoys hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and kayaking.  She likes crafts, playing the piano, and is an avid reader.  Her professional organizations include the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association (Ethics and Grievance Committee), the AAV, the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians (AEMV), the American Ferret Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).

Dr. Victoria Papscoe

Dr. Papscoe has been working at Littleton since 2003.  She also graduated from Tufts University.  Her veterinary interests include avian and exotic animal medicine, feline medicine, dentistry, and behavior and she regularly attends continuing education courses on these topics.  She has spent time working at humane societies and on Indian reservations.  She currently has four cats  and a quaker parrot and in the past has had many different varieties of small furry rodents.  In her spare time, Dr. Papscoe enjoys travelling, scuba diving, reading, and going to rock concerts.  She regularly volunteers for the Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society and Commonwealth Cats spaying, neutering, and providing veterinary care for feral cats.  Her professional organizations include the AVMA, MVMA, AAV, and AEMV.


Dr. Jacqueline Warner

 

Dr. Warner is a 1999 graduate of the Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine.  She completed an internship at the Windhover Veterinary Center in Walpole, and practiced at small animal and exotic animal clinics in the Walpole/Medfield area for 8 years.  Before coming to Littleton Animal Hospital, Dr. Warner also practiced as a relief veterinarian at multiple veterinary clinics in the Boston area.  Dr. Warner has a special interest in all exotic animal species, but especially enjoys working with rabbits, reptiles, and birds.  She lives at home with 2 rabbits, 2 lizards, a cockatiel, a newt, and several fish tanks.  She also enjoys spending time at home with her 2 children.  Dr. Warner is a member of the AVMA, MVMA, AAV, ARAV, and AEMV.


Dr. Rebecca Chafel

 

Dr. Chafel has left Littleton Animal Hospital to pursue a career teaching veterinary technician students.  We wish her the best of luck!
