Technicians

Heidi CVT

Heidi joined our staff in 1997 and has used her many years of experience to help our patients and their owners.  She became a state certified technician in 2000 and has kept her certification current by attending continuing education seminars.  She is now the head technician at Littleton Animal Hospital and has many varied responsibilities assuring that each patient receives the best quality care and monitoring. At the clinic, she is a strong advocate of training and behavior, especially for dogs.  She is also an avid gardener Many of you saw her green thumb at work with our now infamous banana tree- see if you can stump Heidi with a plant question!

Tracy

Tracy has been working at Littleton since 2002.  For the first two years she was a receptionist, and then she trained to be a technician.  In addition to her technician duties she has recently taken over responsibility for our inventory. Tracy has two cats at home (Snickers and Bailey) and also has a one-legged quaker parakeet named Jack Sparrow.  Jack came to LAH from a pet store as a baby with such a severe foot injury that his leg had to be amputated.  Since he could not be sold, he was turned over to the hospital.  Jack endured many bandage changes and during that time bonded with Tracy.  So Jack headed home to meet the cats and the rest is history!

Barb

Barb has a long career as a technician, joining us in 2009.  She is a valuable addition to our staff. Barb is an experienced breeder of Labrador Retrievers. She has lots of good advice for new puppy owners. Barb spends some of her time visiting local nursing homes with her therapy dogs and attending obedience classes.  Many weekends you'll find her at Dog shows competing for titles on her dogs in obedience, rally and the breed ring.  Barb also loves working with avian and exotic patients and has adopted a few birds and rabbits into her pack.  Barb also owns goats and a guinea pig. Barb is also a BIG Red Sox Fan! GO SOX!!

Emma is the newest menber of our technical staff.  She is a recent graduate of North Shore Community College for Veterinary Technology.  She started here as an intern while attending school and was asked to stay on as a full time employee.  She has 2 cats, Zoe, and Romeo, and a Border Collie mix named Mia. Please join us in welcoming Emma!

 Jen CVT

Jennifer is a certifiied technician who has worked at Littleton since 1994. Jen is now attending nursing school but she still works part time.  She is the hospital's resident "bird whisperer" and has taken in disabled birds for rehabilitative care throughout her career. Jen is an avid mountain biker and plays many different sports.
