Carol

Carol has been at the hospital since 1993 and is an integral part of the front desk staff.  She is the one who sends out your friendly reminder cards notifying you of your pet's upcoming vaccines.  And, if you miss it, she'll send you one stamped "PAST DUE"!  Come February, don't expect to see Carol on a Sunday.  She is a "NASCAR junkie" and doesn't miss one race.  She even did the Richard Petty Ride Along at Loudon Racetrack in New Hampshire.  She had a grin on her face for a month!  In her spare time, Carol loves to read and go for hikes in the woods and zip along the treetops in Costa Rica while listening to the howler monkeys below! 

Jude

Jude started at LAH in 1998.  In addition to her front desk duties, she serves as the hospital's administrative manager.  She shares her home with 12 cats.  All of her cats came to her as strays and yes, they do get along for the most part.  "I'm going for every color, shape and size.  I have the cats nobody else wants - the one who doesn't use the litter box faithfully or the one who can be sweet one minute and a terror the next.  But with me, they are safe and have a good home.  I cannot accept people putting their animals to sleep for convenience."  In her spare time, Jude is an avid true crime reader, a civil war history buff and a forensics freak.
