Dawn Brooks, DVM with DogDr. Dawn Brooks, our Chief of Staff, joined our practice in December 2018. She has enhanced us with her professionalism and good nature, and her clients speak highly of her quality medicine and compassion for her patients. She was born in Lowell and has lived in Westford most of her life.

She is the fourth generation in her family to live in Westford since her great-grandfather settled there from Poland. She graduated from Westford Academy in 1990, and then attended Stonehill College in Easton, MA. From there she went west to Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine, graduated in 1998, and then moved back to New England to her roots. She rounded out her academic career as an intern at the Angell Memorial Medical Center in Boston until 1999.

She resides in Westford with her husband, Robert, her daughters, Sydney and Jordyn, her Golden Retriever, Miller, her cat, Veronica, and two small mixed breed dogs, Shelby and Chase. She enjoys various outdoor hobbies with her family, taking care of her daughters and bringing them to dance competitions around New England, and crafts (quilting, needlepoint, recreational sewing). She is an active member of her church and an avid Girl Scout who supports the Westford Girl Scouts as a troop leader, director of various town wide events, and as the town cookie sales coordinator.

Dr. Brooks has a special interest in small mammal, avian and reptile medicine and enjoys taking care of all pets, including rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, birds, snakes, lizards, turtles, and tortoises. She is committed to providing excellent care to our less traditional pets and their families. Dr. Brooks became our Chief of Staff in the summer of 2019 but has worked locally in the area as a veterinarian for close to 20 years. We are thrilled that she has joined our family here at Littleton Animal Hospital.
